This video is the story of the Lakes Region Clean Waters Association founded in 1959, one of the early leaders in the movement for a cleaner environment. Their successful efforts to clean up New Hampshire’s Lake Winnisquam not only allow us to enjoy what the lake is today, they also helped set the tone for the newly created Environmental Protection Agency.
