2nd Annual Lake Winnisquam Summer Social August 12 @ 3pm

We’re getting excited for our second annual Lake Winnisquam Summer Social on August 12th at the Waldron Bay Clubhouse, 15 Lower Waldron Rd, Meredith from 3pm - 6pm. We’re making this one a family-friendly event with lots of games and activities for the kids, including a hands-on visit with some adorable live animals from Wildlife Encounters from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. We also have several great food trucks lined up, musical entertainment, and some fabulous items to offer in our ever-popular Silent Auction. It’s an indoor/outdoor venue so the event will be happening rain or shine. Admission is free, and all are welcome. All proceeds will directly support the Winnisquam Watershed Network’s efforts to keep Lake Winnisquam clean and healthy.

NH Gives 24 hour Online Charitable fund raising event, June 6th 5PM - June 7th 5PM

On Tuesday, June 6th , the Winnisquam Watershed Network (WWN) will be participating in NH GIVES, a 24-hour, fundraising initiative that supports hundreds of local charities across the state. We’re hoping to raise funds to help the WWN continue to protect and preserve our treasured Lake Winnisquam. Listed below are just a few highlights of what we’ve accomplished.

  • Raised over 200K to cover program costs

  • Removed most of the milfoil in the lake and prevented further spread

  • Implemented new measures to prevent new invasive species from getting into the lake

  • Organized lake community members to act on important environmental issues

  • Completed a watershed-based management plan to protect the lake, and began work on improving 3 high priority sights listed in the plan that discharge excess sediment and nutrients to the lake

ON JUNE 6th, please make your donation to the Winnisquam Watershed Network by clicking on the link below.
